Pre-Op Testing and worried

I just got my surgery date today for June 27th. I am really excited about this because this has been a two year fight for me. But I am the kind of person who over worries. I am just worried that I am going to go for these pre-op tests and they are going to find something wrong, that will delay my surgery even more. I know all the nerves are normal and everyone questions their decision, I just needed to vent.

Hi, I know how you feel. I had to go through a bunch of tests as well. My tests included, cardio stress tests, angioplasty, colonoscopy, and an endoscopy, and a few others. I had one test 4 days before my surgery. I was very nervous. But, it all turned out OK.

Hang in there. Things will work out for the best.

Thank you both for the encouragement. I always wondered why people were iffy about the surgery when this is what they wanted. Now I am in this position and I see why. But I am so looking forward to this so much, just have to get through all this silly stuff.

With my pre-op testing, they found out that I lacked vitamin-D as well as a stomach virus/bacteria. They put me on some antibiotics.

They kept my surgery date of 6/11 so all is good.

Good Luck
