I can't answer exactly what YOUR surgeon wants....
I used to be a "beer drinker"....and had been for over 30 years, enjoying every last single opportunity and appreciated each frothy drop and foamy dribble....and for the life of me can not recall ANYTHING productive that came of that enjoyment.
Then in 1990 I was given the choice of insulin injections twice a day, OR chance the likelihood of my vision and/or kidneys crapping out.
It took 7 years to get over quitting cold turkey. Now I don't know how I EVER could stand the stuff.
We Morbidly Obese will be faced with changing our eating and drinking behavior.
It certainly is worth ANY effort to regain our lost health.
I've found ways to explore and enjoy the New Freedoms of my postOp Life.
