Liquid Diet GI Side effects

Hey ya'll...

First post...been on the liquid diet now for 5 days.

I can't stand the taste of Slim Fast/Atkins/Any of the Vanilla/Choc/Straw/ Shake mixes. They taste like you're drinking cake batter...

Started using New Whey 42g Bullets. They taste fine to me.

Problem is....All of these things are Killing my stomach. I've never had any protein/milk allergy or anything like that.

Is this just something I should get used to becasue I'm only getting liquids? Should I take some Immodium?

it does get better. i drink the EAS AdvanEDGE carb control protein shakes which have 17 grams of protein and only 2 carbs per drink. they have both vanilla and chocolate and taste really good. you can get them at Wal-Mart and they are not real expensive. They don't seem to upset my stomach as much as others. Good luck.

Liquid in, liquid out. It will get better once you are on more solid food after surgery.
