Ok so, today was my surgeon appt
All went spectacular, got there got weighed

then went in to meet Dr Baggs. Very nice man. He asked which procedure i wanted, and told me it was the best option.
He said with my bmi that I should get a very good weight loss with it, and maintain. He said with the RNY the chances of malnutrition are very high, and it's not a safe option when I know I want another baby.
So LAP-BAND® Im stickin to, I asked about the % of success charts you can find, and he said 1st off you have to look where you find them, most are trying to get the higher paid surgery, 2nd the LAP-BAND® is newer. There are a lot of bands out currently, so they can't say what the loss is in 5, 10 and so on years, but it is made to stay in us for a loooong time and be adjustable for life. (unlike bypass)
So now, I get to get my case manager appt on monday, and i told him id like to have the surgery sooner then later because i have a trip in march.. he said it is achievable. So we will see, but kaiser richmond has 1 Case Manager for ALL OF US! So talk about a busy schedule!!!
So i also got all my labs ordered gotta go do those asap, then the pre op class, then he said OR..

wow, scary! But exciting, but scary lol.
