Diet required for Insurance

When your insurance requires you to be on a diet for 6 months, do you have to visit the doctor every month? Can you go every 3 months and they will consider this a doctor supervised diet? Thanks in advance for your answers.

The best advice is to get the number off the back of your insurance card and call and ask. Most seem to want a monthly weigh-in with medical documentation.

Yeah, That Was What I Was Thinking, (weighing In Monthly) But My Pcp Seems To Think Otherwise. I Will Call My Insurance Company And Ask Them Like You Suggested. Thanks!!
