CPT Code

Hi all,
I am wondering if any going in for fills could ask their doctors (or their billing person) what the CPT code is for the fills. I want to try to get my fills paid by insurance and want to do a little research via my policy before I get to that point.

Great question! I'm sure many could benefit from that answer.
I did do a Google search on CPT codes, all I could find was codes for the Lap Surgery, LAP-BAND® adjustment/port and Lap removal. I'm wondering if they could use some sort of generic code for "injections?"
If anyone knows that would be great. I'm trying to budget how much this surgery is actually gonna cost me down the road.

what my docs office said is that once the intial care of 3 months is over if you have insurance a fill visit is an office co-pay and that is it.... it must be a billing thing.

I wonder if the LAP-BAND® adjustment/port is the deal? I'll do some checking tomorrow as well. CPT codes are tricky sometimes.

The only way my insurance pays is if I have it done under flouro. Then they pay 100%. If I go to the office and have it done blind, I pay $100. ~Mandy
