Hi I'm Inan from CHicago and I am scheduled for surgery on 9/10 with Dr Jeffery Rosen. I love his group. They treat each person as an individual. They really seem to care. I am on day 6 of a 14 day medifast pre-op diet. They are powdered meals, shakes, soups, pudding, eggs and oatmeal. I add a little spice to them and they are pretty good. They are a high protein, low calorie, low fat meal plan.
Good luck to you and all the rest of the september samuris. This is my first post on here. Actually my first post ever. I am looking forward to having a great group lile this to support each other.

Hi

I just got my band today September 2 I was very lucky in the fact that I was the first appointment of the day. I feel pretty good for the most part just a little tender but nothing I can't live with. Lortab helps also..lol very excited to see the results that are going to come my way. Would love to keep in touch and see how you guys are doing. Hope to talk to you soon... Theresa WA state

We can definitely share the journey together. I get banded on 9/8/08 in 1 week. YIKES!! I can't wait. Day 7 of my liquid diet and 12 pounds down. Congratulations!!!

After going to support group last night, and being lovingly reminded that my surgery is in 2 weeks (not even now) I am totally nervous.

I'm the 16th!! So excited....I just started the liquid diet today although I do get to have a protein and veggie for dinner. Not too bad.
