I will be traveling by plane (3 hr flight) in earky Aug. I have heard that some people experience problems with restriction due to air travel. I will ask my surgeon about it but has anyone else heard this or experienced any problems?

I flew a couple weeks ago and had no issues. I have heard that some people do feel more tight afterwards. I think it depends on your body.

My doctor said high altitude and air travel shouldn't affect the band, but I know when I was in the mountains for a family reunion for a long weekend, I couldn't get down anything but liquids. Perhaps it was my family making me sick (ha ha) but as soon as I 'descended' I felt better.
