Advise on buying a scale?

I know I need to buy a good one. Digital I assume. I've looked at a few, but does anyone have any advise or opinions? I also need to buy a kitchen scale to weigh food. I like the ones with the removable plate/bowl.

Thanks,
Barb

Hey Blund, I bought a food scale in Dec 2007. Salter, model #1440. I LOVE it. Has everything you should need. All you have to do is type in what your food is that you are weighing and it gives you everything on the screen. Bought at Macys.

I bought my bathroom scale back in 1995 believe it or not. I love it. It's sturday and has ALWAYS been accurate with my clinic's scales. Each and every time. It's a Health o meter personal scale. Not digital. Has the big dial. Best scale I have ever had. Hope you find something that will work for you.

I bought my digital Taylor scale at WalMart for about $35.00 and it's the best scale I've ever had! It's always right on the money, even if it doesn't always give me the answer I want....

Hi. Thanks for the advise. I bought a food scale and a bath scale online at "Save On Scales." They had several on clearance and the food scale has the nutrition calculator and a memory so it will keep a running total. Sounded cool, I just hope its not too complicated to operate!! I have 48 hours to return them anyways. Shipping was very reasonable too...still worth the price.

Thanks again,
Barb
