Homemade protein shake

(This may have been posted before.)

My surgeon gives out this recipe....

32 oz skim milk
1 cup powdered milk

65g of protein

I mix a little Lite Hershey syrup in it and I don't mind it at all. Seems like a lot to drink but I spread it out thru the day. I have also put a little sf Kool-aid powder in it which isn't too bad as well.

Using fat free powdered milk do you know that comes up to roughly 800 calories?

Well crap - I never even thought to check that. I am just at 6 weeks today and have had one every single day since surgery. No wonder I am a slow loser...I was just doing what the doctor suggested! Oye vey.....
