OK - I'm back. I ate 3 small baked chicken strips (from my anti-bad stuff expensive chicken breasts I bought today) and I did good! I got them down well... no stuck or PB in sight! I;m stuffed though! I have about 9 left too, so I will pack them up for lunches and such.
You mentioned veggies, I can do very few of them, because I get stuck on them every time. You have NO IDEA how badly I crave a huge ass Chicken Ceasar Salad. Haha. Like, wayyyyyyy huge. But yeah... I just can't do lettuce at all. I can do broccoli in severe moderation... I should go buy some. Hmmm. Lol.
I heart you all.
Now I plan on spending the rest of my evening crocheting on flip flops and watching old episode of 'Dead Like Me' on SurfTheChannel - Home.

Suzzie,
As for veggies things like greens, cooked spinach and green beans that have been cooked to grey work for me.
Also when I can't stand it anymore I make a Ceasar salad and let it sit for a good thirty minutes to get SOGGY, then it goes down easier.
Just a thought.
I'm sending a check tomorrow.

J- I never thought of green beans. Haha. I think I just focus on lettuce cause I'm a HUGE salad lover, and I miss it so much. Ha! Yes. I think I can do green beans. I eat steamed peas sometimes, though it's been a while...
Did the pic of the shoes come through? They are really cute. Everyone at work saw them and loved them.
I think I'm about flip flopped out! Working on some now for my sis in law, then have to do 2 pairs for another friend. Weee. My poor afghan is being neglected!

I'M FILLED!!!! YAY!!!! I don't notice anything...yet! I am so glad I got it though. I was all set to be pissed off if I didn't get it! LOL I'm so glad I didn't have to go all *bitchy* on him and kick his chair.
It was so easy. I was braced for it to hurt like the chemo needles did. This didn't hurt a bit. He tricked me though and put the needle in when I wasn't expecting it...clever. I have a 4 cc band and he gave me 1 cc. I was surprised at how much I got. I was expecting something like 0.2 cc, ya know? Anyway, can't wait to feel a difference and start getting rid of some of this booty! WOO!

I'm on call...sucks. Already got called in this morning. I'm on call all weekend. Blech.
Btw, I still don't feel anything. I asked him if I should do liquids or something but he said no. I am taking it easy though, just in case. I don't want my first PB to happen during a surgery!! LOL

I didn't pb until after my second fill.
For me they happen right after I eat. Like within a few minutes. I know when they are going to happen as soon as the bite goes down, but that was a learning curve kind of thing.
Do what feels right. You are bound to PB at some point. Here's to hoping it happens when you are alone.

ok, everyone......I have a confession to make..................
I know we all know I bought a new bike this spring. It is a Giant FCR2. The guy at the LBS (bigger one then here local) told me it is the same components etc as a road bike but with flat handelbars....OK....I do like it, I really do...allot better performance then my hybrid bike.
But....I still had this itch for the "true" road bike.
So, I have been watching....test rode some gorgeous Trek road bikes this past week.....still want one that I test rode......
But.....I found this gal who had a 2001 Trek 1000 road bike for sale. She bought it in Illinois before she started college, and rode it about 40 miles. The bikes tires still had signs of it being new,etc.....The bike has sit for the last several years in her garage in Indy.
She had no clue about the bike, becuase she thought it was a 52cm, when it said RIGHT ON THE frame it was a 54...
Anyway.....I bought it from her.
Yes, I know...It has allot of the older style heavier components on it, but all in all.....it is a sharp bike.
I will get a picture of her later and send it along as well.
So, we went bought a decent seat for her, and clippless pedals....a total must......
It had cages....hated them....
So, john has worked on it since yesterday, greasing it, getting the kinks out of the chain......adjusting the handelbars, etc......
So, I am planning on taking it out on a test ride this afternoon again. I rode it some yesterday....it was not bad......not as smooth as the NEW trek bike....
But....I have decieded that I should ride this one, pick it apart for the components I like and dislike, then I will know what I am looking for for sure.
It is defiantly allot different riding position then my Giant bike.....(which we are taking along today just in case.)
Anyhow....just wanted to share

Nice HP! Very patriotic! I'm glad you like it. It's a change to go to drop bars, but fun!
Have a good time with your new baby!
