I'll post real quick and catch up on reading later.
Friday night was lower body again. Damn, thought the squats would be easier, but no.
Saturday morning I did 2 hrs. 10 minutes on elliptical.
Sunday morning was 1 hr 10 minutes on elliptical and treadmill combined. Went real hard for 35 minutes on elliptical and then hopped on treadmill. Ran 2 miles and then walked 10 minutes.
Yesterday was upper body and 1 hr 40 minutes on elliptical as I was off.
This morning was 65 minutes on elliptical. Back in tonight for lower body. We'll see how the squats go this time.
Luluc-I live in the Twin Cities. Luckily, no real snow Friday or Saturday, just real cold and rainy.

If I had my way, I would be in TX as well. Unfortunately, DW will not leave her home country.

Thank you wombat for the kind words.
More importantly, thank you to your father, your family and you for your fathers sacrifice. Not enough people think about the jobs we do unless they are inconvenienced by a ticket or one of us falls in the line of duty. God bless you and you family for the sacrifices you have made so he could protect the rest.

Awwwwe - now you made me cry :) Thank you for those beautiful words. I believe that God certainly blesses those who do the work for the benefit of others.
My dear son (15) wants to be a police officer. It breaks my heart to consider the possibilities but I would never stop him.
Hey LULU!!!!
Ok - the cardio chick totally kicked my butt today - for an hour!!!!!!! I told her I hated her at least 3 times. I thought I was going to pass out twice (hag) She never even stopped to do stomach and other stuff. grrrrr
(ok - done whining - I'm still trying to recover lol)

Okay...here are the pics from my last two rides. I should have taken tons more pics, but on Tour Dallas I was having so much fun that I kept forgetting to take pics, and on Lancaster I was having so much NOT fun from all the hills that I didn't care about pics! LOL
Anyhow, here they are...I didn't do them justice.

Very nice Stef!! Looks like alot of fun at both.
As for me, last night was upper body. Let me just say, I've always lifted, but I honestly feel as if I am getting to be stronger than ever before and working harder than ever before. The weights I'm throwing around, while nowhere near what a true powerlifter does, is so much more compared to my current weight than ever in the past.
Ok, done tooting my own horn. This morning was 60 minutes on the elliptical. Have to work this weekend, so cardio will be trimmed down. Might be able to get out on the bike this weekend after work, but not holding my breath.
Back to tooting my own horn, couple of nsv's to share. Tried on my shorts from last summer that were getting a little tight. Waaaay to baggie now. If I put a belt on, the shorts bunch up on the side and look awful. No way I can wear them again. 2nd one, the other day at home while changing, I noticed I have oblique muscles now. Where did those come from? Still got the love handles, but much smaller and the muscle is starting to show through. I'll never have a 6 pack, but I'll take what I can get. Last one, yesterday I was walking through our dept when our training Lt that had been away at an FBI class for close to 3 mos mentioned I had lost enough weight to finally need new uni's. I looked him in the eye and said,"Yeah, again". I got new uni's at the end of last year around late Dec. Now, those are getting baggy.
Been a great week for the esteem.

Okay...been dealing with rather large band issues for a while now, and got SOME finality around it today. So it's time to share, I guess.
I've been having issues since my last fill, which you already know. I had a slight unfill, which you also already know. However, problems started back up. Trouble eating anything at different times, different days....no real pattern, and very annoying. I just dealt with it. Got VERY stuck late Monday night...lasted hours and hours. Dry heaving, trying to PB...nothing helped for many hours. Since then, nothing goes down well. Even water gurgles and makes me burp for an hour. So today I get fed up and call at the last minute to talk to my NP. After giving her the scoop, she gets me in right away.
Sure enough. My pouch has stretched. We believe it occured from Monday night, as my flouro pics from a few weeks ago showed my band/pouch were top notch. So I had to make a decision.
I had them remove all fluid from my band. I go back May 15th to check it under flouro again. If the pouch is healed, they can start putting fluid back in my band. They said it usually takes two fills to get all my original fill back. If its not healed, they will wait one more month. If at that point it isnt healed, I go back to my doc to discuss redoing the surgery from scratch.
HOWEVER, this could be an ideal opportunity for me. With no fill, I will see how much of my loss has been band and how much willpower I really have. If I can swing it, and manage to lose even five pounds by May 15th, I will likely never bother with any of this. I will leave my band unfilled.
Here's hoping....

WOW Stef! I am sorry about all the troubles, but I think it's awesome that you have come to the decision you have. It takes a lot of strength but I am sure you have it in you. Not only have you made excellent choices as far as exercising but life decisions which will help you keep it off! Please keep us posted, and know that we are always here if you need support.
I am at a standstill with the weight loss but I have had a huge NSV. I am down 8 more inches, and I am thrilled about that. I have been a lot busier since school, and I look forward to a time when I will be able to hit the gym on a normal schedule but for me right now maintaining is good. I really want that extra pound to come off, but it's just not shedding, not sure why but I am thinking about doing liquids for two days, just to see if I can keep remembering how not important food is..The other thing is we are just having so many other battles right now, I believe it is stressing me out and I am once again turning to food for comfort...Lots of things in my life are assisting with this but I need to get in control of this, but for right now I am still moving and I am sure not going back to where I was...and I haven't been that bad but....not great either...Ever been there?

Hi guys.
Steff....same thing happened to my wife and she had to have a complete unfill for 2 weeks. She was super hungry and begging for a fill after two weeks. Hope you do better but if not dont beat yourself up, it just proves it is working and that why we got it.
Jess...Good job with your crazy schedule. I just got back from Montreal where i get to practice my french :). I took a spin class at a local Gym that the instructor talked french for the whole class lol.
Also it was weird that the readmills where all in french and i had to work out what button meant what. All that KMph instead of MPH was killing me too.
managed to lose another 4 pounds last week. Im offically down 150lbs now and im just coming up on my 9 month banderversary. I really hoping i can hit 200 in year...wouldnt that be just amazing??
Keep at it everyone.

Hello all. Crazy week. Worked out 3 times this week. Had my first fill. Yeah - don't try steak same day as a fill. I had no idea but I know now.
I also had my tattoo touched up. I realize that sounds crazy, but it has an effect on my workout schedule - I can't wear anything but flip-flops for 3 more days. My tat is on my right inner heel. Sounds weird but it looks great - again. I have a Christian fish.
The great news is that I am free to resume all activities I want to and have my personal trainer lined up for this coming Monday so I can start lifting again. I am looking at 2-30 minute sessions per week for the next 5 weeks plus my cardio days. I am also finally getting to restart the C25K program next week.
Stef - wow! But sounds like you have a great plan. Thinking about you and pulling for you!!
Keep up the good work - everyone is working so hard. Yeah us!!
