3 wheel adult bicycles

I feel like an idiot am nearly 46 and cannot ride a bicycle, never riden one. I have seen the bike shop with an adult one outside, but you tend to see only mentally disadvantage people on them. I am so tempted to get one though, but think I live in a major city, and we have to wear helmets whilst riding and then I would look real silly. Got to look into body combat classes or something else I suppose, just envious reading about all the bicyle bits on here.

I've been interested in the RhodesCar 4 wheeler myself....yet have never ridden one. They are pretty spendy but seem like a good idea.

google for their website.

I'm getting a trykke or trike, however it is spelled. I'm 56 and I probably will look silly, but who the hell cares?

I bought my mom one. She cant balance due to 2 artificial legs. But wanted to be able to ride arround with her grandkids. So I bought her one and she loves it. she can go to the grocery store with out any help. and they dont have to buy gas just to drive to the store. Makes her more independent.

She told me people always want to know where she got it, because they want one.

you know everyone.....if you have ever in your life witnessed someone being thrown over there handelbars, or a car hitting a bike, you would not care how silly you look wearing a helmet. It may not be the law in Indiana, but it should be

The bikes are wonderful, and allot of the people where my mom lives uses them allot to just pedal around the apartment complex.
I used a hybrid bike and a single speed cruiser bike when I first started.....

Hang in there...you will love it once you get on
