I with ya on this one. PUT THE FREAKIN' PHONES DOWN! I was almost run over yesterday in by some idiot who was talking on their phone RATHER than looking both ways while turning right at the corner where i was trying to cross.

Personally, I don't think that these new laws that outlaw Handset use in the car will do much good....I think that ANY use of a cell phone in a car should be BANNED. It's not the handset, it's the DISTRACTION!!!!

I love texting! It's the least of the distractions of American drivers.

There's eating in the car, playing with the raido, having a passanger, having road rage...

I think the cell phone is the least of our problems. Monstly all the bad drivers I see don't have the phone in their hand, they have anger issues.

Having a passanger is the same as talking on the phone, if not more distracting.

texting and driving his dangerous. If someone is talking on the cell phone they usually are driving like idiots, but texting is waaaay worse.

Are you telling me you never looked over and seen some kid with their eyes completely off the road on the phone furiously texting their gf, bf, bff, whatever. Its dangerous and irresponsible.

Texting is fine, but it doesn't belong on the road.

yeah, the only thing worse than talking while driving is TEXTING. Those people are just plain stupid.

Should be an executable offense.
