Self pay - reiumbursed on appeal

I am self paying for my lap band while also trying to appeal for payment through my insurance (Southcare/Healthcare Preferred).

Just wondering if there are any others out there who have successfully been reimbursed after self paying.

There was someone on another board I frequent who WAS reimbursed...but that was a couple of years ago.

Does this surgery work? Does anyone know who the best Doctor for this is i Illinois? How much does it cost? I will have to self pay.

Muriel, you might want to start a new thread in the General Discussion area to ask questions about the surgery, or even just read through lots of old threads for information. You'll get lots of answers but probably not here in the Insurance section. :)
