....no, I'm still pre-op but like to look ahead as much as possible....

WHO had had the proceedure with or without insurance?

and WHAT was done,

and HOW did it help,

I haven't got to that point yet, but it's probably in my future. Check out "Geezer Sue" 's posts under "Plastic Surgery". She has some interesting links showing where it could be considered "medically necessary" for insurance purposes. She had it done in 05/04. I don't know if her's was w/ or w/o insurance.:)

Insurance

I had the procedure done without pre-approval. Submitted the bills after surgery and was reimbursed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield Excellus with no questions asked; both doctors fees and hospital. This was my experience.

Hi Jack,
Like I said before, the doctor and hospital submitted the bills after the surgery
and the insurance paid, no questions asked.
Good luck to you,
Erika

I was hoping to hear more about the actual clinical details....and how effective/etc it was....if you want you can private message me....I don't want to invade your privacy....I'm concerned over

such as 1)pain 2)how it turns out 3) just how extensive can it be, ie thighs, abdomen...etc.... :banana :banana :banana

Hi,
I think that you misunderstood me, I've only had the LAP-BAND® back in May but nothing else.
