Fills - FSA Eligible?

As with most self-pay lapbands, the 1st year of fills are included with the cost of my surgery. I'm thinking ahead to year 2, and I'm wondering - are fills an FSA eligible expense? If yes, is any documentation required?

Thank you in advance.

I would think so. In general for my FSA, I submit receipts or EOBs from my doctors, I don't have to tell the govt or company adminstering the FSA what service was performed. The Explanation of Benefits or check receipt has the doctors name, address, id and copay or amount paid.

I agree with Elle. All of my Lap Band costs were covered under my FSA plan. Fills are still part of the medical procedure, therefore, they are covered also - Brenda
