Hi Tracy,
I'm still banded and I plan to return to weight watchers because one it will be a lot easier now that I'm banded and two I really like the way of eating. I do not feel deprived of anything. So good luck!

Hey Tracey,
MY thought is this - DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO!!!!!!
WW is a GREAT diet. So many of their products are found at your local store - which makes so easy to follow the plan.
I wish you lots of success with your continuing journey!!!

Best of luck - you know you can keep it off! Keep focused and you will be so proud when you lose that 20lbs through sheer will-power and good habits. I really hope it goes well.

WW is great! I joined WW last year while I was banded to help me stay on track. Now that I'm unbanded, I plan to rejoin in the near future (after I heal from surgery two weeks ago) to help me lose the weight I've gained over the past year. Good luck to you! I've met many people online that have used WW to lose over a hundred pounds. It works.

Hi Tracey,
I was only banded a few weeks ago, but I did my WW points for my pre-op diet and my surgeon and I were both pleased with the results. Now that I am banded, and have started on mushies, I am continuing to count points. I am using the points as a guideline for how much I should be eating.
WW has always workied for me (until I quit and gained it all back). It is a tried and true method.
Good luck - I really wish you the best!

I started NutriSystem this week. My unbanding had resulted in a quick 10 lb. gain. This is my last week of school (high school English teacher), and it's been hard to resist the lounge food treats. I'm hoping that being out of school will help me to commit to an exercise program. Wish me luck! Best to all of you!!

I am one of the most inconsistent people on the planet when it comes to "programs." Weight loss, skin care, exercise, nail care, fitday, showing up for work (!)...the day-to-day of it all sends me into a fetal position on the couch. (Perhaps the reason why I HAD to go the wls route.)
My sister on the other hand, can get on that pony and RIDE. She lost about 75 pounds--in about a year and a half--with WW and NutriSystem and Curves. (She stalled out last Christmas and she recently mentioned getting back on track...her grandmotherly duties have been distracting her.)
But she can do it and she is happier with her progress in that arena that she would be with any wls...

After my weight started creeping up after my band was removed, I joined Weight Watchers and gained five pounds in the first week. That was the end of that. My inner-self just has a huge resistance to anything that involves restriction/diets/programs, etc. I actually end up eating more than if I wasn't on a "diet." So many people are successful, I'm obviously not one of them. Good luck to the WW fans.

I think Weight Watchers is a good program.
Good luck on continuing your successful journey!
