Unhappy Stuck in throat?

Hi, I'm new to the forum - don't quite know how to do things yet. But, I need to hear from anyone who is experiencing a feeling of constriction in the throat, all the time, not just after eating. It feels like something is stuck in my throat. There's no pain, just a tight feeling. Has anyone else felt this? Does anyone know what it is?

Once upon a time I had a feeling rather like gagging all the time....or a too tight tie or too tight collar buttoned.

Along with other symptoms, I finally figured out it was a 'too tight band'...and it felt like a constant traction between by gullet and my pouch...which is exactly what MINE was....

took out a few tens of cc (down from 1.7 to 1.5/4cc Band) and all was well once again.

I could eat hard protein, I didn't have first bite syndrome, etc.

if you have all those together, consider you may be 'too tight' and talk with your surgeon.
