How about a fluoroscopy to check the band position? Did your doctor do that when you had the unfill?

Agree with Snowbird. A fluoroscopy would be in order to assess the position of the band and the size of the pouch.

It's a good sign that your symptoms improved.

If the pouch is dilated on fluoro I would leave the band deflated for 3-6 weeks and recheck (fluoro).

Hope that helps
