Help!

Hi Everyone:

I had my band put in on April 25th I have had two fills so far am due for another this Thursday. My port is on the left side of my bellybutton. I have had a great deal of pain on my left side in the tummy region but further to the back. I thought it was perhaps I hadn't had a BM but I had a really good one (TMI) today and it still really hurts.

I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this - its quite uncomfy. Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks
Bandess

I would suggest contacting your doctor. I did begin using fiber supplements to help me be regular since I had problems digesting fibrous foods. hat could help you in the long run.

Definitely ask the doctor and try to describe the pain as specifically as possible. Is it constant pain or pain that happens when you move a certain way? I experienced the latter for several months after surgery and it finally went away--sometimes it's just a matter of taking a long time to heal.
