I've never heard of anyone being banded in El Salvador. I was banded in Mexico, and I know lots of other who have been also. I have also heard of being banded in Costa Rice and India. As long as you do your research and talk to as many people as possible who have been banded by the same doctor, then I think its fine anywhere. There are good and bad doctors in every country...just research, research, research!
