Young adults getting banded or already banded

Hey my name is Brittany and Im 17 weighing in at 207 pounds. Im getting banded on April 21st 2006. A lil scared but very excited at the same time. Any advice? My mom just recently has had it done and shes happy with it so far, shes lost 5 pounds and was banded February 23rd 2006.

I am 24 and banded... not too far away from you. If I could have had the band at 17, I would not have gotten into the shape I was. I think it is a great tool, and I wish you the best of luck.

I think it is wonderful you are getting the band now. You will avoid so many health issues hopefully down the road. Good luck to you and your mom.
