Healthcare consultant? advice?

Hi, I've heard the Alberta Health care will refund $1068 if I have the Lap Band done in Toronto. Does anyone know the process? or is there a healthcare advocate that would help me?

Also, if AHC is paying for Lap Band and fills to Albertans that are patient enough, I was considering that I might be able to get my fills for free too....if I know the billing codes, and forms required.

Any help however big or small would be appreciated.

thanks

Tyler

Check out the AHC website. The forms for out of province claims look relatively straightforward, but I don't know what the actual process is like.

I was talking to Dr Mumford at the SWLC. He tells me that they have recently gotten full funding from AHC for pre-op and post-op medical care, including the optifast that you have to take before the surgery.
