Dr. Lance Tin in Mississauga

Hi,

I posted earlier in the week asking about Dr. Coburn. You all had great advice, thanks. I also have a consult with Dr. Lance Tin in Mississauga. Has anyone been to him? If yes, how was your experience?

Where does he work out of Jacklyn? Never heard of his association with SWLC so assume he must have a different practice.

Thats a very nice article about Dr. Tin. I had bookmarked the following website a while ago when I first heard that there were a couple of other doctors doing LAP-BAND^® in the Toronto area:

Looks like this clinic does a lot of other plastic surgery procedures in addition to LAP-BAND^®. Does anyone know how experienced Dr. Tin is with LAP-BAND^®?

Had a consult with them, but cancelled because people on here hadnt heard of him, and there was so many people happy with TLBC. Also i could go into many more reasons, but thats one of them

I had a consult next week too and cancelled. I just did not like that no one had heard of him either. I now have a appt with the SWLC in Mississauga.

Congrats Jacklyn, on your consult. It's too bad that people are ending up cancelling on Dr. Tin, but hey, I totally understand, I would have too! I would have needed to hear from other people who've seen my surgeon, and not being able to find any would be freaky! There's probably some kind of network of them around somewhere, but hopefully they'll be represented here someday. You don't owe him anything, and why would you take a chance on an unknown, for the same price! when you can go with someone who tons of people have gone with!?

When you have a clinic like this, half of it is business, the other half medicine, Tin's clinic realllllly doesnt know how to get themselves in the ring with the others. Although i think its mostly a plastic surgery place, they might get more business if they would change a few things.
