Does OHIP cover any band problems?

I was wondering if OHIP would cover any complications you might have after you've paid for your band. What I mean are things like surgury to take it out or repair it. Did you discuss this with the Lap Band doctors? I know you have to pay for the band & fills but I was wondering what happens if you have any complications?

None as far as I know of. Maybe Heather can let you know as she has some history for that.

Surgery to take it out or repairs are all covered by my Surgeon Dr. Yau at TBLC in Toronto... I'd go back to him before I'd let any ER doctor touch me...
