Non smoking aides

Is it safe to use nicabate patches, or gum or lozenges after being lap banded, have been banded 6 months now??

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be. I used Nicobate to quit smoking for 2 weeks leading up to my surgery and 2 weeks post-surgery, at my doctor's behest. Why would you think that the LAP-BAND® would make a difference to using Nicobate??

I was concerned because you cant take asprin and only certain laxatives, so thought because the saliva woul goo down may affect. And i know alcohol is very concentrated on lapbanders thought maybe the stuff would be too cocentrated fom the patch . Pre band different, but post band concerned about.
