i fit into a k-mart 18

today i went to k mart with my boyfriend - he had to go buy a belt. I just strolled along and I saw some of the clothes on sale - i have never been able to shop in the "normal" sized section - always been stuck with the boring plus sized section.

Anyway, my clothes have been very loose of late and I thought I'd fit a few things and lo and behold i fit into a size 18!! I couldnt believe it. I ended up buying 6 items....but they were all on special so its ok:)

Seriously, to anyone who is considering getting the surgery done, no supersized portion can taste as good as it feels to fit into a size 18 for the first time like ever!!!!

I dont actually know how much ive lost to date as i dont own scales - by choice (it was 7.5 a few weeks ago)

Going for my 2nd fill in a week - will know then

HEE HEE:D

WOOHOO yay for you. What a good feeling to have more choices than plus size nanna clothes.
I tried on all my clothes and loved the feeling of them being miles too big and putting them in the salvo bag. Have not bought much yet just one pair of pants but i definitely have to my work pants are hanging off me

I know what you mean about the boring plus size clothing - sometimes when I go shopping with my mum she's like "oh this is nice" and I just tell her flat out "your choice of clothes is horrible, i will NEVER wear that kinda crap" lol I know it's rude but there clothes are seriously feral - hence why I don't own alot of clothes lol - I'm now at a size 18 anyway so at least I don't have to look far for some nice clothes, usually rockmans/millers which aren't that bad but I know I'm going to love walking into jeans west or somewhere like warehouse and look at something and think "wow I can actually wear that now" hopefully soon lol

There are lots of great places to buy plus sized clothes - but you do have to know where to look.... "My Size" has nice, young casual stuff. The Sara range in David Jones is really nice (and you can buy that online also at www.ezybuy.com.au I also really like the Be Me range at Rockmans. Our choices are a lot more limited though than what they have in the US.

I have a blog beenabeena.blogspot.com If there is anything you wish you were told pre surgery that you figured out afterwards id love to know.

I am still thinking like the old me. Today I went shopping for work pants and my automatic thought was grab the biggest pair on the rack. Lucky I tried them on and found they were miles too big I ended up with a size 16 but it still doesnt register in my brain that there are clothes that are too big for me now.

Like yoou nat I had the weirdest experience as I went shopping yesterday and bought a pile of clothes that weren't from the labels such as urbane woman or fields woman or any other 'woman' label! It felt fantastic but also a bit scary..... I haven't been this size in a number of years.

Miss P congratulations on fitting into those size 18's and enjoy wearing your new clothes. :)
