Gold Coasters?? I have questions...

Just wondering if anyone would like to share info about their banding on the Gold Coast. By mid March I would have held my full private insurance for 12 months - should I start making arrangements now to have LAP-BAND® surgery? I have been to a seminar and lurked around these forums but was just wondering how long it takes from initial appt to surgery date? Also, where did you go, how much did you pay, any regrets?? Nosy, aren't I?? Actually, these forums are great and I really appreciate all the non biased and personal information people are willing to share - so thanks.
