Flat lined and need help

Hi, I am new to this site so firslty hello to everyone.

I had my surgery 18mths ago. After 13 months I had lost 30kg, then went on my honeymoon in November and put on 4 kg, now I can't get that or anything else off! I hardly eat and when I do 9 times out of 10 it comes back up! What can I do?

Anyone have a suggestion on foods that can be eaten? Getting bored with food!

My suggestion would be to go see your doctor. If you are so tight you can't eat anything without throwing up, that very unhealthy! It may also have put your body into starvation mode, so that it is hanging on to every calorie and gram of fat, because it doesn't know when it might get the next one. Sounds to me like you need a slight unfill, to get back to a more normal eating pattern, but don't take my word for it - see your doctor!!

Definatly a doctor thing, but i will still give my opinion because i just cant help myself!
I had the band a while and had lost a lot of weight when it all of a sudden stopped, i got an adjustment and that didnt work so i kept getting them, till i couldnt eat or drink. I ended up in emergency waiting for a doctor who could take the fill out. After that i realised that you shouldnt be uncomfortably tight, you shouldnt throw up all the time. Since i got the band adjusted to a comfortable tightness i lost weight and got to my goal weight. This was because i focused more on being content then FULL.
You need to eat, as the above posted mentioned your body goes into starvation mode, eat more and lose more.
Water is also key as it flushes your body.

Yeah I had it adjusted for the reason and in 2 and a half weeks I put on 2.6kg!!!!!! Some days are ok, others are not good. I understand my body might be holding onto what it can however it's just strange. I spoke with the doctor who said if I could workout weight loss and obiesty I would be very rich!!!!!!

Hi, i agree with Bel - get some fill out. A lot of my co-bandits have had this problem and as soon as they have some fill out and can eat properly and healthy food they start loosing weight again.

Tricky things these bands.

I agree - it is time for a good heart to heart with your Doctor.

You may need to re-evaluate your whole food intake - particularly liquids and the amount of fill.

Perhaps keep a strict food diary and your body 's reactions to each meal in the four weeks prior to your appointment, so he/she can go through this with you.

Good luck
