City: ON A TRAIN IT SEEMS LIKE LATELY State: MISSOURI | This year, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address occur on the same day. And, as it has been pointed out, "It is an ironic juxtaposition of events: one involves a meaningless ritual in which we look to a creature of little intelligence for prognostication, while the other involves a groundhog."

It's refreshing to see someone state outright that they're voting Repubican. Sometimes I wonder if people are embarrassed to admit that they're Repubicans. They always tend to say they're voting for the man... but then their choice is always a Repubican.

Proud Rep here.
I won't though, vote straight party. I will look at both sides. It's been decades since I voted against my party.
This year seem to be bo different.

I really like that..

Hubby was a delegate for Edwards back when he ran with Kerry. I'm sorry to see him drop out this time... Pam Pittman

I am very disappointed that Edwards dropped out. I had high hopes for him. I guess I'm not the only one who is speculating that his wife has been unable to beat her cancer. I hope we're wrong.

If you vote for a candidate, doesn't that mean you're voting for the man? I mean you're going to get his political party if you vote for him.
I can't imagine anyone actually blindly voting for one party or other without regard to who is actually on the ticket. By the same token I can't imagine voting for the man without regard for his political party.
