Paula Deen, just what I was thinking. I was in Tunica this weekend, and saw a sign they are building a Paula Deen buffet at The Grand Casino. I can just imagine.. it's going to be all kinds of foods mixed with mayo & deep fried. Even the pictures of the boards covering the construction have pictures of foods in deep fryers.
Uh oh Laura----you know we will be in TX in a week!!!!!!

I wonder if this Sodolak's has one of those mini zapper/CPR machines on the wall?!! Even before my band, I could never understand WHY anyone would buy a deep fryer!!! Blaaaaaaaaaaaah

I'll be honest, I can't decide if I'd eat choco covered bacon. I would likely try it, out of curiosity.. it doesn't make me want it from looking at it, but there's things I've eaten that people would turn their nose up that sounds weird, but is hella good... french fries in ice cream.. french fries in mayonaise.. Those were the days hah.. no more french fries are approved by my band.

The fact that this looks appealing to me may be because I'm from Deep Fried Kentucky? *drools*

Yep, I think there is an entire segment of the population (hailing mainly from the south of course ) that would eat almost anything battered and fried (pre-band, of course)!

Cool

re: "Yeah. I used to love to dip mcdonalds fries in wendy's frosties...."

Back in the early 60s there was a waitress I was trying to impress at a place that introduced the "Burger Family" to Idaho....

Papa burger, Mama burger, teen burger, baby burger....

All with differing meat/bun/condiment sizes.

I thought I was making headway with her until I started ordering "baby burger caramel-fudge sundaes"....

[sound of one hand smacking forehead: ....]

actually, the tartness of the pickles/mustard really provided a counterpoint with the sicky-sweet-smooth caramel-fudge-whipping cream!!!....
