Missing Twin Found

Hey Bright, did you know you have a missing twin? It's my sister!!! When you posted this Black&White of yourself on the Before and After thread, I froze...how did you get a picture of my sister?! So I copied it to my hard drive (sorry, hope you don't mind) until I could find a good pic of my sister to post...finally found one, although I know she has a B&W of herself somewhere with sunglasses holding her hair back...very weird.

Anyway, the pic on the left is my sister holding my daugher when she was a baby and the picture on the right is, well, Bright! My daughter thought it was Aunt Christie when I showed her. I don't think she believes it's not...Isn't this weird?

I was dumbfounded when I saw those two pics. It truly is Bright's twin. They say everyone has a twin somewhere. I can't wait to meet mine. LOL!!! I think she is a swimsuit model. LOL!!!

Wow! That is definitely a real likeness! I would not have batted an eye if you had told me they were the same people!

I truly believe we all have "look alikes" out there. Matter of fact, I found a picture of the girlfriend that my first husband had before he met me and eventually married me and WHAMMO! I would have SWORN it was a picture of me!! Ugh, talk about your wake up calls! I should have known when people kept calling me "Tracy" when we first started going out, even HIM! But once I saw for myself I couldn't believe it! She had known he had started dating someone that people said looked like her. I finally met her about 6 years later after my divorce at a night club. Both of us were frozen and we just knew who the other one was instantly!

Papa was a rolling stone!!! Hahaha! I cracked up when I read that, you are funny Gunn! That's funny...but I seriously doubt it, not my dad, not very likely! Hehe. Anyway, there's go to be a connection, right? Bright lives in Dublin, Ireland...I have Irish ancestors, who knows?

What's wierd is in Bright's other pics, she doesn't look like my sister...it's just this Black & White one. Bright has red hair (real?) and my sister had red hair as a baby and young child, and it got strawberry blonde as she grew, and now it's just brown (like mine) but she puts in the blonde highlights.

My sister is also about my size (5'5" and 220lbs) so even as they both lose weight, the face shape changes. I would like to see more pretty pics of Bright, and post some more of Christie. I have a camera phone now, so maybe I can do this without bugging poor Penni to pieces. Or waiting to dig around in Christie's attic for old photos.

Both my kids have seen Bright's pic and said "Aunt Christie!!" My two year old saw it this AM and pointed and said "Kissie!" then "aw, pitty" (translate pretty) Isn't that sweet?

I can't wait for Bright to see this...I PM'd her but she hasns't signed on...and on my new camera phone, there is a world clock. According to it, it is Monday afternoon there...come on Bright!!!

I've seen a picture of my twin... I thought it was a pix of me!

I must have one of "those" faces, because I've had other people tell me that when they first met me, they thought I was someone else they knew.

I met my twin when I was 16 years old. I went to a skating party and when I got there, everyone kept calling me a different name (Carol). I kept telling them I wasn't her, but nobody would believe me. About a half hour later I went into the bathroom and there was a girl in there with the same color of hair, same eyes, same red sweater and black pants on as me! I couldn't take my eyes off her, it was like looking in the mirror at myself. She was about an inch shorter than me but other than that, we looked identical! I will never forget that day!

She does look like me! My hair is pretty much exactly that colour (I was fairer when I was younger but now it's gone to that strawberry blonde colour, naturally). Isn't it weird - we're all supposed to have a doppelganger somewhere in the world! Kathy, I have to see more photos of her...I'll try to post some more likeness of me!
