That's the day before my birthday :-) Please let us know how it goes.

Hi, I had one 9 yrs. ago because I had PCOS and precancerous cells. It was a great decision. I couldn't take hormones because my mom had breast cancer, and I had a higher risk. However, I did go to a dr. to who prescribes natural hormone creams. Some people experience depression, vaginal dryness, etc. as a result of surgery if they don't take hormone replacements. The surgery itself was not bad, just be careful about lifting when you come home. I'm sure your dr. will tell you that.

I appreciate all of the feedback. I heard back from my doctor's office today and they confirmed I do not need to have my band unfilled for a vaginal hysterectomy. What a relief! I've finally gotten the right fill amount so I hate to have to go backwards.
