I'd look on Ebay Lisa. I know that I have gotten some pretty good deals on there before, in lumberjack sizes none-the-less. :)

Try Catherines... sometimes they have nice Holiday type evening wear. (and they fit even the giant blob chicks like me...) I think you can just google them.

Good Luck!!

It's not just the size, it's the length. I'm 5'10" high. Where do drag queens get their fabulous gowns?

I did a search for formal plus tall gowns and came up with this blue drapery. NOT very DeLarla!

I can always find plus size formals at Dillards. I know every one is a little different but the one by my house carries lots. Also, I found a few really cute ones at Torrid. They have online also I think! They are more young and hip. You are lucky you are looking during the time all of the dresses are out for Prom! As soon as Valentines Day is over they will pack the stores with these things. Also, I know this sounds crazy, but bridal stores have really pretty formal bridesmaid dresses. They are generally decently priced too. They also usually have lots of sizes and colors of the same dresses. Check places like Alfred Angelo and Bridesmart plus!

Here is a link to their special occasion dresses. I am sure you will find something there.

I would have recommended David's as well, since you need it pretty soon. High end department stores are good... Stuff is out for prom season, so you might have luck in more places than you would in other seasons...
