Anyone use Dr. Sanchez in Monterrey? He was gunned down in cold blood just a few days ago, at the gate leading into his ranch. If anyone is interested, I will try and find an English translation of the story.

I just got off the phone with one of his nurses. His partner will be taking over his patience. What a sad tragidy

Gads. That is terrible. I sure hope no one decides to shoot Dr. Rodriguez. It is a shame when someone kills a LAP-BAND® doctor because they are doing a whole lot of good for the world.

Just wondering if anyone had heard anything new. I wasnt seeing him for aftercare, but was still speaking to him on the phone just about monthly. I feel slightly bereft here. What a sad and bizarre thing to happen.

I talked to Alma on Monday and was trying to get funeral arrangements because myself and another girl that was banded by him wanted to go there to see the family and everyone at the guest house. They are so upset and dumbfounded. I cried and cried Monday. He was just the sweetest, kindest more generous surgeon I've ever met let alone the best in the world for the LAP-BAND® surgeries. They had just told me in July that the reason Dr. Z was taking over most of the surgeries was he wanted to semi retire, he's done more than 7000 on the band surgeries and was just tired. I hope they catch and put to death whomever done this.
