Don't Brag about your Lap!

So, I told my 12 year-old twin girls about my plan to get banded. They have weight issues of their own and wish they could have the same procedure to help them. When I mentioned that a small amount of food would be filling me up, they told me it's not fair to brag about it. So, I haven't been talking about it. I don't have my procedure scheduled yet since I'm still trying to get insurance coverage.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

I think Sugarplum has the best idea. Include the girls in your daily "Lap Band" routine......they could learn so much from this. Think of how proud they will feel of themselves when they can see your success and know that they have helped by cooperating .... then they'll notice their own success. They will also know that you still have to work hard even with the band and may think differently about your bragging rights.
