Community Events on Holidays
My community has what they call the "Sweet Corn Festival" every labor day weekend where they celebrate the harvesting of our corn fields with events and a parade...

What do your communities do for certain holidays?

Gee around here they don't do much during labor day weekend except (if your lucky) a parade. Mostly people use the holiday to bbq and drink. I'd love to attend the corn festival, sounds COOL !!!!
