Anyone goin to Sturgis 2006?

We too are hoping to get to go this year. WE are in Georiga so like for many others it will be a long trip. We have several friends that go and say it is well worth the ride. We have been to Panama City Beach & Daytona and several around closer but with these pesky things called jobs sometimes its impossible to be off to go.

We also ride double we have a 2003 Anniverisary Heritage Softail. My big present (I Hope) is going to be a new ride for me when I reach my goal.
My other half is already closer to his goal as he had surgery 1 month prior to me but I'm still close on his heels.

We are riding/trailering/cruising in a 1 ton with bandster friends from here in the Panhandle. We have reserved a camping spot at the Buffalo Chip and hear that in itself is a wild time! LOL
When the time gets closer, I'll make a new thread and we can all make plans to meet up at a Bandster friendly watering hole and maybe plan a ride!

Gosh, that sounds like fun! We can't go this year, but maybe next year.

We both have our own Heritage Softails, his is a 2001 and mine is a 2002. It would be fun to meet up with some of you sometime.

Bonnie, the best idea I've heard about is make your reservations, box up your "stuff" and ship it in via UPS, ride your bikes and stay at motels/hotels along the way. When you get there, set up your stuff. When you leave, ship it all back home.
