Will I be able to pick up my babies?

Hi Everyone,

I was banded Feb 28th, 2007. I have 4 boys altogether. The two little ones are 2 1/2 and 14mths. They both weigh around 31 pounds. I was wondering if it will hurt my band if I lift them right away? Are there any other moms out there that has had this issue? My doctor says I can lift them but the nurse said to wait and have them crawl or walk to me.

Also, how do I put a ticker on my profile? Im new to all this...I would like to track my weight loss that way on my profile.

Thanks for any advice or help.

Misty

Maybe, Search for ticker help... sorry- but it took me forever... I have no better advice- I may get you more messed up with it.
When banded my baby was 1.. lifting with legs/bent knees helped. The more they can do the better though. Helping them climb was better(or me) than picking them up for a while. Good luck and be careful.

Hi Thanks for the answers. My boys come home tomorrow. I think we will be fine. They will have to walk to me and that should work out great.

I was told not to lift, push, pull or drag anything over 20 pounds for 2 weeks.
