Getting Used To Restriction

TRYING TO GAGE THIS RESTRICTION; IM THINKING IM CHEWING REALLY WELL (im sure i am); IM THINKING IM WATING BETWEEN BITES; ARG... THE FEELING THAT SOMETHING IS STUCK IN MY ESOPHAGUS OR UPPER TUMMY, LIKE NOT EVEN TO THE STOMA... WHEW. RECKON I'LL HAVE "rethink" EATING. I REALLY THOUGHT I WAS PRACTICING REALLY WELL. I HAD ALMOST NO RESTICTION BUT I WAS TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING. APPARENTLY NOT!! DAY 2. ;) -R

I've read on here that some go on liquids or mushies for a few days after a fill. They also say that after a few days if you can't get liquids down then you might have to return to have some of the fill taken out. Do some searches and you should be able to find some threads that talk about this. Good luck.

You know, i had heard read that several times too, from other threads, but the nurse that did the fill was like adamant that no more soft foods, no liquid calories, three meals. Pretty much reiterated all of the do's and don'ts. I'm pretty sure i'll catch on quick. :)
