Hi, I need some help getting some information. I am 5'2" and weigh 195. I want to know if I can possibly qualify for the lap band through Tricare Prime and what the procedure is to get qualified. I don't have any illnesses "per say", but my entire family is obese and both of my parents have diabetes. I've been struggling with my weight my whole life (i've been skinny, fat, skinny, fat, skinny, fat, etc...) I'm embarrassed to go in and talk to the doctor unless I know for sure that I have a chance. Is there anyone out there that can help me? Anyone who has experience with this? thanks!:confused2:
