Sandra how was the fill experience?? How much restriction do you have??? I will get my first one on the ninth of Jan. Woo hoo! I had a great Christmas....and I did cheat a little....should still be on mushies.....but had a little homemade fruit cake.....i know most people hate it.....but mmmmmm it was soooooo good!

anyway the fill was easy. I laid down with a pillow in the small of my back. she found the port. put alcohol or something on it. gave me a little deading on the skin. then inserted the needle. I didn't feel the needle at all. and it was done. poof.. I don't know about restriction. stayed on fluid yesterday and mushie's today. but I don't think so on the first one. put in 1 cc in a 10 cc band. but it is the start on the road to restriction. I like it slower actually. then I can work up to it. happy new year to you.. hope you are successful in all you do..

Hi everyone! I haven't checked in here for awhile....the holidays have me busy! I'm doing pretty well, but eating a bit too much of the bad stuff lately. I've had 2 fills so far in my 4 cc band. The first one was 1.2 cc and the second was .3cc. I still don't have the right amount of restriction and I've been losing fairly slowly so I'll probably get a little bit more fill on January 4. You're all doing great!!

glad everyone is doing so well. I keep dreaming about food....last night it was donuts....and I was dreaming several times about thanksgiving dinner, and no one would let me eat!!!!! Okay, I must be feeling deprived. I think I am still losing weight tho....my clothes are looser and feeling better....I don't want to weigh myself until I go to the doctor.....I get too weird with the scale....starts dictating my moods and self esteem...not good. Well, hopefully bandster hell with soon be behind all of us....and we will hit that sweet spot with restriction! Take care....and Happy new Year!

I am doing good. still craving food. but that doesn't surprise me. Over ate during the holidays. trying to get back into it. still losing weight. I haven't noticed any restriction with my first fill. going back at the end of the month.. hang in there everyone... This has to work

I go in for my first fill january 9th! On Tuesday!!!! Thank goodness.....I really need it...I feel like I could eat just about anything....but I tried bread and that didn't work out so well.....so I guess I can't eat anything...lol....but am looking forward to more restriction, I feel hungry alot. Let us know how your fill went today. I haven't weighed since I had surgery. I sure hope I am in for a good surprise. However I don't want to get my hopes up too much.

Dawnae I can't believe you haven't weighed since your surgery! I'm way too impatient...I pretty much weigh every day, but I only count my Sunday weigh in. I'll cross my fingers for you next Tuesday! :)

My fill went fine today...they added .2 cc so now I'm up to 1.7 cc. Of course I can't tell much of a difference since I'm still on liquids today. Mushies for tomorrow.

Isn't this weather crappy?? Yuck.

I'm with you.. crappy plus.. I shouldn't the snow . but I guess I don't really . just the cold. I am anxious to have my next fill. I keep saying that I can do this but really I can't. I come home and eat junk.. still loosing but so slowly. only 3 pounds in the last month. of course that doesn't surprise me. that is my problem.. doing good and then poof... I get crazy.. obsession with food.. that is why I did this LAP-BAND^®... well happy snow to everyone.. Sandy

Man I am ready for no snow....I was really hoping it would be a mild winter so I could get out and walk occasionally....bummer...I hate indoor excercise. Sandra I hear you about the food obssession....it is tough. I went out and got dr phils book....hoping that will help me "get it". I so want this band to work....but bandster hell sucks....I just keep reminding myself that the successful ones were successful when they got the right amount of restriction!!! so don't be too hard on yourself.....if we could have done this on our own we sure as hell wouldn't have gone under the knife to lose some weight! I just was looking at your dates....you got the band in september and just barely had your fill????? Now that totally sucks.....I could not have waited that long and kept up the bandster diet.....no way.....how come so long????? Hey girls, just checking in. Thank goodness it stopped snowing! Dawnae how was your fill yesterday?? Sandra how are you doing with your eating, did you schedule a fill yet? I'm finally starting to feel some restriction with fill, but it's not quite to the "sweet spot" yet.

Hi Jessica...I actually just got my fill this morning...I am feeling very very full right now...it has been a while...did you feel the same way...and how long did that last??? glad you are feeling some restriction...it is a little frustrating when you don't! Hello Utah friends, My fill is scheduled at the end of the month. I seem to be back in control. As control as possible. In the last ten days I have lost 4 pounds, gained 4 pounds and lost 4 pounds. So I am at a loosing right now. until I weigh tomorrow. I ate one piece of pizza for lunch and probably 1 1/2 cups of spagetti for dinner. I do good and then without a fill I eat too much.

Maybe I can stick with it tomorrow to offset any gain from today. Just too many carbs and fat... anyway glad you all are working on your fills like you are supposed to.. soon you will reach that soft spot and your new life will be underway.. sorry so depressed... better next time. I actually got 4 nerve block shots in my lower back today so i am not feeling too hot. bye for now
