Hey! I am still looking into the surgery, but bottom line is that I can't do anything until July because that's when I'll be back on insurance, but I would like some feedback from those of you in Victoria or the surrounding area...who did yours...how was it...etc....

Isnt that near Houston? Not sure - but I think there are MANY cities named Victoria.

Victoria is a couple of hours southwest of houston...sorry... :nervous

Dr Spiegel did my surgery.
But, from what Ive heard, there is another one in that area that is also doing the AGB (banding). You may want to ask Kellymoos (Kelly) - she is a moderator on this board and lives in the Beaumont area. She may know more about the surgeons.

I am going to Victoria on July 6th to meet w/Dr. Chang of Citizens Bariatric Center. I've been to our local support group in Corpus and most folks have used either Dr. Chang or Dr. McDanial (in group practice). They all have wonderful comments on both of them. The support group here is mostly with folks who've had the gastric bypass. I am looking at the Lap Band procedure. I'll know more after the consult.
