Information about LAP-BAND®

I am in Broken Arrow, OK and looking for some information about LAP-BAND® Surgery. I am kind of looking at Dr. Gorospe to do the surgery. Has anyone used him as their Dr. and could you please tell me what to expect. I am a little nervous about this, but I know I need to do something. Thanks

I can't really help you too much, but before I had my surgery I went to the website healthgrades.com It's a great site where, for a small fee, you can get a "report card" on the doctor you intend to use. It will tell you if they have been sued for malpractice, any issues with their license, etc. I found it really helpful. Used it for my band dr as well as my PS, and was super satisfied with both.
