PM me for directions..tell where you are coming from so I can get the best directions for you.

What time do ya'll want to start?

Families and Friends welcome...

I need a head count so I know how much meat to buy...my DH and DS will be there along w/ my grandparents since it is there house. hehe. Is Chicken grilled ok for everyone? That seems to be pretty easy to eat or would you rather I have cooking in a crock pot? I thought hot dogs for the kids and anyone else that would want one or two.

Ok I am excited...I hate I missed last night but Aug 5th isn't that far away.

Everyone is welcome even if you haven't met us yet and want to join us please feel free to do so.

Rachel and I will be there! Yay! What neck of the woods is your G-parents? We were talking about it last night and I was thinking Harrisburg...Wavy? said Gastonia...anyhow. I'll bring chips and black bean and corn salsa and whatever else you need! Chicken sounds perfect to me. And Hot dogs! Perfect. I'm really looking forward to this!

Yes I will be there with my 3 and maybe another 2 or 3 more. I will know more by the end of July. Not sure what I want to bring yet either? I make a mean potato salad but not sure others would want to eat it? Its got those mean nasty carbs in them. :)

Yay! I can't wait until Aug 5th! Hey thats 3 days after my 35th birthday! ;)

As far as I know, I can be there. I don't know if John (DH) will want to come or not? (Never slowed me down any.)

I think we were thinking lunch but we can change it dinner...it doesn't matter to me at all. Or we can do lunch and dinner no biggie to me. The pool, food and fun...what more could you ask for.

Oh I am really ready to try Kathy's corn bean salsa. Sounds yummy. Angie potato salad sounds good to me....

Karen - DH or not you are always welcome.

Dianne - I hate you are going to miss it...bring em get away or get away for a little bit.

Me and the girls will come, not sure if I'll be able to drag Paul. Now if Kirk goes there might be a chance of getting paul there? I have a pool party this weekend. She planned it from 4-7 so we don't have to worry as much about sunburn and such.

I'll bring a veggie something or rather for kristen...and maybe some hummus and pita chips??? Maybe a watermellon if Kristen is still on that kick.

I'm still planning on bringing mashed cauliflower. My daughter has an awesome low-fat recipe. John has declined coming with me; he's funny/odd that way ... like it's "my thing" and he doesn't want to intrude?

I am excited about the mashed cauliflower! I have always wanted to try it but I have been afraid too. :) I will try yours and I am sure it will be good.

Ok so a couple of things...

First - What time is good for everyone? noonish? fourish? Lunch or Dinner?

Second if we did whole chickens would that be ok? My dad made this great moist chicken on the grill, it's done sitting on a beer can wrapped in a couple of peices of bacon. It doesn't taste like beer at all...I actually hate even the smell of beer and I love it. :)

List of who is coming and who can't make it:

Kathy + 1 child (black bean/corn salsa and chips)
Angie + 3 - 5 kids (a mean potato salad.) hehe
Wavy (depends on time, if come fruit/ or soup. could she be on liquids) haha
Karen - Mashed Cauliflower
Melissa + 2 kids (veggie something)
Dianne - can't make it

Anyone else? We have a big pull and will have a lot of fun? I can add a tom/cuc salad. It's easy to make.

Ok let me hear your thoughts!!!!
