I'm scheduled to be banded in Columbia 2/11 at the Un of Mo. Can you tell me who and which hospital you had yours done?

Just wanted to update you. My surgery went smooth. I'm ready for that 1st fill. I lost 13lbs since surgery. Dr de la Torre did my surgery at the Un of Mo.

I've been walking a couple of miles a day, drinking lots of water and getting that protein in.

Hi everyone, I am scheduled to go for the seminar in Springfield on Sept 3. I dont know when my "banding" will be.. I feel like a bird talking like being banded, Im scared stiff. Im 48 yrs old and so wish they did this when I was in my 20's I am morbidy obese, so much so that my arthritis has turned on me, I cant walk, cant do much of anything anymore, I may be scared but Im tired of living like this. My surgery is supposed to be in Columbia. Give me some idea of what I'm in for.. thanks
