Well, Tricare approved me My pe-opt is July 30th and nutrition class July 31st and Surgery Aug 25.:biggrin2:. Dr. Farhan will be doing my surgery at Hurley in Flint.

How did you get tricare to approve? My father is retired Army (he was active until Dec '07) and when he was active my mother tried to get the band and was told tricare does not cover that kind of surgery.

What Tricare does he have? I have Tricare standard. As of February of 2008 TriCare covers Lap Band if you meet the criteria. Go on the tricare web site. It is www.tricare.gov I hope this helps.
