Annicakes do a search on PB or PBing and you will see what is meant by that. I can't really explain it truly because I am not banded yet.
If you want to learn more about the doctor you could also try going to ObesityHelp - Gastric Bypass, LAP-BANDŽ System, DS and Other Surgical and Non-Surgical Weight Loss Options. that might give you more info.

live in wakefield, work in north reading (hello scott! i work at hood) and was banded in boston at bidmc by dr. jones who is awesome! i would love to get a north shore group together for support and fun. anyone interested?

I have two friends who had bypasses done by dr. pohl, and they all rave about him. If you're getting surgery in RI, he's the one to go to! :)
