Unless he is different for people he did not band, he does not use flouro on a normal basis.

Hi Amy88, I just want to thank you for posting this info. It will help so many of us bandsters that went out of Florida and now don't know where to turn for our fill. This is just wonderful information. Whoever did this research---thank you, thank you. It is definitely appreciated.

I called several of these Dr.'s and was told no, they would not do fills on other Dr.'s patients no matter where you were banded. I should have kept a better list but for sure the Tallahassee Dr., Dr. Crooms will not.

I went to Sacred Heart for the informational seminar given by Dr. Lord. The question of fills came up at the seminar, and someone asked if he did fills on patients who were banded out of country. He answered, NO he does not do fills for other doctors patients. So unless that policy has changed I don't know if Dr. Lord's information is correct.

I was at one of Dr. Shieh's support group (Cape Coral - Ft. Myers, FL) and one of his patients said she had her band in Mexico and she had a complication (slip) and Dr. Shieh saw her in the ER and accepted her as a new patient and fixed her slip. I'm not sure what the office charges, but it's just helpful to know he's here in SWFL.
